Anne Miller Watercolours

Caribbean and Canadian Images - Limited Edition Prints and Original Works

Anne Miller

Anne Miller began creating her delicate collection of watercolors in a small studio aboard the family sailboat as they cruised the Caribbean from 1982 through 2000. Traveling through the islands Anne found inspiration in all of the different aspects of the local lifestyles. Anne’s appreciation and sensitive interpretation of the diverse features of life in the Caribbean have won her the affection of many islanders she has painted.

Now Anne has returned to Canada and the Okanagan Valley where she is hard at work painting scenes of this beautiful valley. In a new series of prints she is featuring one of the industries of the Okanagan which is steeped in tradition - Wine. In doing so she hopes to capture the beauty of the vineyards, the workers, and the Valley they live in.

Anne divides her time between painting Caribbean and Okanagan scenes, loving both and always looking for new and interesting material to capture with her brush. Anne spends a minimum of five hours a day in her studio. Her subtle use of light and shadow and extraordinary use of detail have garnered her immense popularity as a watercolourist. Anne exhibits regularly in twelve different countries from Canada to Trinidad.

Anne's prints, published from her watercolour paintings, are printed on acid-free paper. In addition, Anne normally has original pieces available. Her work can be seen throughout the Okanagan Valley and the Caribbean. If the world could remain within a frame like a painting on the wall, I think we’d see the beauty then and stand staring in awe.
